Description

Kayland is an Italian manufacturer of high performance mountaineering, backpacking, hiking, and multi-sport footwear, with a reputation for outstanding fit and innovative materials and technology.

As the name implies, the 8001 has been designed for expedition use and extreme mountaineering above 8000 meters. This model features a removable inner boot combining an aluminum-coasted outer shell with Primaloft-insulated liner for maximum thermal insulation. The gaiter has an anti-slip closure strap and a volume regulation system to reduce the chance for the gaiter to catch on obstacles during climbing
